We want to help you expand your practice. Whether you are a beginner wanting to gain confidence in foundational postures or a seasoned practitioner looking to explore and refine a new level of asana, we offer registered classes that incorporate progressive learning so that real growth is possible.
Yoga in the Pass

Guided Hike - This will be tailored to the group that signs up, so it will be accessible to everyone who joins! A bagged lunch will be included.

Free time to explore on your own! There is so much to see and do in the Pass: Frank Slide and Interpretive centre, Chinook Lake recreation area (swim and/or walk around the lake on the paths), wander the historic downtown Blairmore, bring your bike and either head out to the mountain trails at Pass Powderkeg or jump on a paved path that runs from one end of the pass to the other. Lunch not Included.

MOM & BABY YOGA
Mondays @ 12:00pm
This mom focused class will give you plenty of opportunities to connect with your little one through movement and touch as you build community and a renewed connection to yourself. Expect to use breath and movement to build strength and mobility in this fun and unpredictable class!

*NEW* SLOW FLOW GENTLE YOGA
Monday 10:45am
This gentle yoga class is designed to slowly build strength and mobility/flexibility through breath and movement. The natural aging process can lead to reduced mobility, as well as aches and pains in joints and muscles. Regular yoga practice can help to combat these common issues, helping to maintain and even increase strength, balance and flexibility. Props and modifications will be used to make this practice accessible for everyone.
FOUNDATIONAL YOGA
Mondays & Thursdays @ 9:30am
This class is for those who are newer to yoga or who would like to refine their foundational skills. It will help to increase your mobility and strength while focusing your mind. A strong emphasis on alignment will increase your knowledge of your own body and how to safely engage with a large variety of postures. Email us at info@expand-yoga.com for more information
EXPAND YOUR FOUNDATION
Wednesdays @ 7:30pm
Go deeper into and build out of your strong foundation. This all levels class will use alignment principles to explore greater depths in foundational postures and provide an introduction to postures that build out of that strong foundation. Expect to use strength and intelligence to improve your mobility and understanding of yoga asana.
GENTLE YOGA
Wednesdays 5pm & 6pm
Gentle Yoga Designed for 50+ This mixed-level class is a great way to build or maintain strength and mobility in the company of your peers. The natural aging process can lead to reduced mobility, as well as aches and pains in joints and muscles. Regular yoga practice can help to combat these common issues, helping to maintain and even increase strength, balance and flexibility.
