ABOUT
Kyla Stack, RYT 500
Kyla has been practicing yoga since the birth of her first daughter in 2006 and has been a yoga teacher since 2019. Her yoga journey has included forays into the Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Anusara disciplines of yoga and her teaching style reflects elements of each of these. She is passionate about the transformation that yoga can bring to your physical and mental well being, as well as the joy that can be found through learning to play on your mat. All of Expand's yoga classes, including private yoga offerings, reflect this philosophy; students can expect hard work, laughter, and always a reminder to be kind to yourself first.
Ashley C., Mom & Baby Yoga
Kyla was so accommodating and helpful from our first interaction. I requested to have a mom and baby group and she was excited to start a class for us. Each week she tailored specifically to areas of the body that are prone to pain in new mother's. She started and ended each class asking for feedback and showing us take home stretches. Given the unpredictability of babies, Kyla was quick to adjust the scheduled routine to suit the needs of the babies in the class (getting up, walking around, sitting down etc). She was happy to pick up the babies and engage with them so the moms could get some good stretches in or a chance to close their eyes. The group was so fun to interact and learn with. I can't recommend Kyla enough. She is an expert in her field and such a delight to learn from.
Trista S., Foundational Yoga
It has been a long time since I have committed to a regular yoga practice, and I am very happy to have started again with Kyla. She is very personable, knowledgeable, and flexible in her practice. Kyla will take the time to get to know your abilities and does a great job at challenging me during each session based on her knowledgeable assessments. I like the balance Kyla brings to our classes, explaining the science and the spirituality of each pose we tackle. I find myself listening to her guidance when I am practicing at home
